What makes Dental Hearing different from regular earplugs?
Dental Hearing protects your ears and enhances your hearing at the same time. Our devices are fully programmable, custom-molded, and designed specifically for high-noise dental environments—no more muffled conversations or missed instructions.
Do I need a hearing test before I order?
A hearing screen is recommended but not required. We can share a mobile app to do it easily from home, or you can upload your recent audiogram. Custom programming based on your results gives you the best outcome.
How do I get ear impressions?
We ship you an easy-to-use ear impression kit. Just watch a short video, have someone help you take impressions, and send us photos. We’ll guide you through the process to make sure it’s done right.
Is this covered by insurance?
At this time, Dental Hearing is a direct-pay service and not covered by insurance. However, many professionals use HSA/FSA accounts or write it off as an occupational health expense.
How long does it take to get my device?
Once we receive your ear impressions and finalize your model, your custom device will typically arrive within 2–3 weeks.
Can I wear it all day while working?
Yes. Our micro-custom earpieces are designed for comfort, long wear, and clear communication, even during long clinical shifts.

Since I’ve received my TACTICAL HEARING instruments from you last summer, I’ve been superbly pleased. I have never bought a hearing aid or a hearing enhancement device, because I was told by a medical doctor that they would do no good. I purchased the Ultra HD anyway, and to my surprise, I can hear sounds that I haven’t heard in ten or more years.
These things work and they work very well! It is almost as another world with sounds has been given to me.
I wear them all the time, shooting, watching a movie and actually understanding what is being said, and everywhere else. I have friends who have paid more than three times what I paid for the Ultras for their hearing aids and they do not work as well as the Ultras, enhancement and protection devices.

I like the sound of loud crashes, explosions and shoot outs. Bottom line is the Ultra HD series is an excellent product that gives me hearing that I would expect to pay $7,000 to $10,000 from an Audiologist. I know this because that was the range I was quoted when I went for a hearing test a year ago and didn't purchase hearing aids at that time, and they do not provide protection as the TACTICAL HEARING devices do. I'm incredibly happy with the UltraHD hearing protection and enhancement device.
